A brief history of the Telly.
The Telly Awards was founded in 1978 to honor excellence in local, regional and cable TV commercials. Non-broadcast video and TV program categories were soon added. Today, the Telly is one of the most sought-after awards by industry leaders, from large international firms to local production companies and ad agencies. With over 200 categories, more organizations than ever are eligible to participate.

The NYTVF was founded in 2005 as the industry's first recognized independent television festival, providing a platform to elevate the work of artists creating for the small screen. Held annually each fall in New York City, the birthplace of modern television, the Festival unites artists, executives, industry figures, and fans together in one forum to celebrate the medium and to help shape its future.

The PHAMALY Mission: To provide professional theatre opportunities and artistic development for performers with disabilities, and to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in the performing arts community.

PHAMALY was one of the first disabled theatre companies founded by actors with disabilities that only casts individuals with physical, mental and/or cognitive challenges. Founded in 1989, the company now enters its 22nd season of providing critically acclaimed and professionally produced plays and musicals to enthusiastic audiences in the Denver Metro area. I have been involved with PHAMALY since its first show in 1990 and have served as a board member, director, actor, writer and cast liaison for over 20 years.
